Nancy Penner is a Manitoba based artist who loves to paint with beeswax and fire! She is inspired by nature and the prairie landscape. Working with encaustic medium allows her to bring life to the glory she sees around her in a way that touches multiple senses.
Notes: Encaustic medium (beeswax and tree resin) was a common form of painting in Greece and Rome dating back to 100 AD. Its true beauty is fully appreciated in person when the senses are allowed to experience it in all its brilliance.
