My first portrait commission was at the age of 12 for pencil drawings of 3 sisters. Capturing the human form in various modes of communication, light and shade, is enticing to me. Currently working in acrylic, the mediums I prefer are watercolour, graphite, charcoal. My goal is to evoke an emotional response within the viewer. Currently, I reside with my lifelong partner in Ajax, and in Haliburton County, Ontario.
