Christina Gouldsborough was born and raised in Northern Ontario in a remote agricultural community which provided a great passion for the outdoors and a love for less populated and peaceful areas. Christina moved to Alberta, in the early 2000s and paints from a home studio there. Inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings in Canada and beyond. Christina aspires to recreate the human emotions and deep-rooted connectivity we feel towards these loved spots. Christina’s art is representative of the places and landscapes Christina has enjoyed while exaggerating the sentiment and intangible attachment experienced while there in the moment.
Notes: My artwork created for "Captured Moments" was inspired by a recent journey along Irelands' Wild Atlantic Coast. Although I have the furthest thing from sea legs, I am always drawn to water and found these dramatic landscapes inspirational and breathtaking. A reminder of the powerful forces of nature.
