MEDIUMS: Watercolor SPECIALTY:✔Technique
My group will focus on watercolor and watercolor skills. I explore different ways to paint watercolor including: loose and fast, detailed work, alternate painting surfaces (YUPO synthetic) and demonstrations on different ways of mixing colors in the medium. I like to teach a variety of traditional and non-traditional techniques. Demonstrations will include layering, approaches to painting, as well as using masking fluid, ruling pens, and razor blades to remove color (seriously). I thoroughly discuss materials and color theory- and teach people about what is actually in that tube of paint- and how to avoid making mud (unless you want that!)
