Heiser has been painting over 25 years, studied fine arts at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, Art League; founded Les Artists Locale, Plein Air Painters of Alexandria, Board member of ArtSpire VA, created/taught recreational Art Rehabilitation at Mount Vernon Hospital. Alexandria Art’s Commissioner.

She paints in oil and mixed media using nature and world travels for inspiration. Her works have won several awards and can be seen on exhibit in DMV area.
