The mentorship will feature a continuous exchange of critiques, demonstrations, and art history lectures. By delving into fundamental principles of perception such as light, plane-structure, tonal value, perspective, and proportion, artists will hone their technical skills and expand their visual vocabulary. Critiques will be constructive and tailored to each artist’s unique style, providing targeted guidance for improvement.
Demonstrations will offer practical insights, while art history lectures will deepen participants’ contextual understanding, inspiring fresh perspectives in their work.

MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nature and Classical Art stand as my enduring muses, serving as both guides and wellsprings of inspiration. Rooted in my Greek heritage, I am deeply motivated to imbue the voluminous essence found in sculpture into my paintings. The art that has captured my love and meticulous study shares a common goal — to encapsulate the timeless spirit of humanity through the harmonious marriage of formal beauty and emotional expression. In my own work, I strive to embody these aspirations. I portray my subjects directly, devoid of narrative embellishments, drawing inspiration from the classical tradition.
My figures often transcend life’s proportions, slightly larger than life size, residing in a shallow space against a pristine white backdrop, enhancing their sculptural presence. Illuminated from above, I meticulously capture the specific qualities of skin, hair, and posture, seeking to transcribe a detailed roadmap of each sitter’s physiognomy. My artistic pursuit is to infuse life into my creations, evoking the feeling that the figures could step out of the canvas. I want viewers to encounter living, breathing human beings, each possessing unique spiritual dimensions, inviting a profound connection with the art.
