The main focus during my Mentorship will be on various aspects of pictorial composition. This will include emphasis on an accurate depiction of form and colouring of many different components within an oil painting.

Our Mentorship group will also be accompanied by the description/demonstration of many techniques employed while executing an oil painting. This process may be approached with looseness and tightness of brushwork, with the goal being to achieve a realistic image no matter what kind of subject matter.

Chris Jordan is an award-winning artist residing in Calgary, AB. His portfolio spans portrait, landscape, still life and abstract oil paintings of exceptional quality. As an accomplished oil painter, Chris is not limited to any specific genre.

Chris has been fulfilling numerous portrait commissions in Calgary and beyond for over two decades.
