Mentoring Aspiring Artists
Not sure if you’re an aspiring artist? Visit our How It Works page.

MEDIUM: Oil | Gouache | Pastel
SPECIALTY: ✔ Technique

Our group will focus on helping the mentees to get where they need to go–which is not necessarily where they think they *want* to go! We’ll look at where everyone is at this moment in time by examining samples of their work, listening to their concerns and goals, and then determine a mutually-agreed-upon path forward for each individual.

Because this will be a group of aspiring artists, we’ll pay particular attention to some of the basics–design, color and finish–but also to process and technique, and even get into the business and marketing side of things, as needed.

Artists can expect a patient, sympathetic ear, but I will also guide them with a firm hand, expecting them to meet deadlines and to work on the action plan that I set for them. In return, they can expect honest critiques and answers. They can come to me anytime with questions, and I’ll do my best to help.
