The paintings are most often represented in a moment of time, and giving the feeling that something is about to or has just happened.
After the Covid pandemic I have began to think more about how our lives have become more isolated even when we come together.
In some of the paintings we see figures involved in there own world, and other works the figures are not represented but a sense of people nearby. The contrast of each frozen moment coming to life. Flat shapes versus detail and finished shapes versus the unresolved areas. Each giving context to the other.Â
