In my group, I aim to support each participant in developing a clearer sense of their own direction and artistic voice.

We will focus on working processes, on finding and maintaining focus, and on the intensity and depth of the work itself. While my own practice is more abstract than figurative, the emphasis of the mentorship is on abstraction as a way of seeing and translating experience — though all approaches and styles are welcome.

I personally work with oil paint, but participants are free to use any medium they prefer. Alongside the artistic process, I will also discuss materials such as surfaces, grounds, and paints. I will also talk about what to do when you feel stuck.

In addition, I will share insights into building a website and an Instagram presence, as well as working with galleries.

Of course, I remain open to individual questions, interests, and needs that participants may bring into the group.

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
