What you will learn in this mentorship

• The primary focus will be on using intuition and creative mark making without using brushes but employing paper towels and rags to achieve a finished piece.
• Other areas of focus would be on aspects of the Sublime and the Romantic in Art, in particular working in the style of Turner, Constable and the Romantics.
• A more detailed focus can be on aspects of light within a painting, layering and different techniques to achieve texture and mood.
• Other key areas to cover are presentation and finish to an exhibition standard as well as marketing on social media.

1. How to use a technique known as Alla Prima in a free and intuitive manner.
2. How to construct a painting from start to finish.
3. How to create drama in a skyscape or seascape.
4. How to break the mould and try something new.
5. How to use intuition as a guiding principle.

• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
