Born and raised in Beijing, China, art was a constant presence in my life, thanks to my father, who is an oil painter. He often took me to art museums and exhibitions, igniting my passion for art. My fascination with portrait and human form is fueled by a quest for the meaning of life and a curiosity for the human mind. I blend fantasy with reality to explore alternative states of existence and reconcile the contradictions in life. I chose watercolor as my main medium. Its unpredictable nature allows me to showcase the interplay between spontaneity and control, illustrating the beauty of opposites united.
