What you will learn in this mentorship

I will go through the core concepts that I think are foundational to my artistic practice, but I will also tailor these to what you need, making sure we can cover as much ground as possible, while ensuring that it sticks the landing.

I do a lot of photoshop sketching on students’ work, to show you exactly what I mean so that the learnings are clear, and are immediately useful for your next painting session. I will give recommendations on exercises and next steps, and I hope to be the springboard for your future success.

This mentorship can be for painters of acrylic, oil, gouache or even watercolour.

I want to help an artist who wants to be helped, who wants to put in the work to go to the next step in their career, and if this is you, I guarantee that we will see a lot of growth.

Mentorship Focus

1. How to find your voice
2. How to build idea-generation into your art practice
3. How to compartmentalize the various jobs of an artist, to get the most out of your time at the easel, and at the computer
4. How to free up and paint quicker, while maintaining focus on what matters
5. How to self-critique
