• I’ll remember the day that I fell in love with Still Life for the rest of my life. On that autumn afternoon, back in my first year of art school, I first saw the infinite world of possibilities that the genre could offer.
• While I specialize primarily in painting Still Life, my expertise as an artist is rooted in the fundamentals of representational art.
• It is these same, core principles that I’m excited to explore with this group – drawing, values, color, composition, brushwork, edge control, concept, and narrative – we’ll dive into it all.

3. Composition and how to develop dynamic paintings

5. Every tip, trick, and method that I use in my approach to direct painting

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
• Meet mid-month with your group for informal connection
• Private group chat between sessions
