A born and raised Calgarian, Suzanne has had a passion for art her whole life. Though she has had no formal training, in her early years she was mentored by local artist Betty Macdonald. Recently, in Feb 2022, she has had the privilege of being mentored by a number of artists through Mastrius who have helped her find her voice again through her art. She desires to explore a multitude of different mediums, finding they each have their own expression in the different subjects that inspire her to create. Painting in a representational style, Suzanne longs to convey the joy and awe she sees in any creation around her and tries to capture those moments for others to enjoy as well.
Notes: Just as the trees go through seasons, we all go through our own seasons. No matter what season we are in, there remains the steadfast Light to light our path in our journey.
