MEDIUMS: Acrylic | Mixed Media
SPECIALTY: ✔ Artistic Process & Mindset ✔ Creating Bodies of Work ✔ Finding Your Artistic Style
Do you want to loosen up your art, find your flow and create work you love? Whether you want to explore abstraction or you are a more realistic painter who wants to free up your style, you are welcome.
We will be focusing on the process of making and less on creating a polished, finished piece of work. This is a space and time to fall in love with the paint, materials, surface, patterns, colours, and shapes that are the building blocks of your artwork.
Maybe you have been wanting to try something new for a while and worried about making a mess or it not working out perfectly. This is an opportunity to learn and experiment without judgment. It’s all about being open to let the work develop and progress in its own, unique way so you can explore where the next expansion and growth will be.
I will help you to overcome creative blocks and procrastination, reduce self-doubt, and let go of perfectionism to build self-confidence in your skill and talent, allowing the joy in your artwork to emerge.
At the end of our time together, you will be creating art that is more true to you with a better understanding of what lights you up. This will be a permission slip for you to get messy, flow with happy mistakes and become curious about what you want to make and what inspires you.
You will:
- Work on your artistic process
- Develop a creative and growth-orientated mindset
- Find more focus, direction, and clarity in what’s for you and what’s not.
- Productivity hacks for studio time and management
- Balancing multiple passions, interests, and projects without feeling overwhelmed
- Being more present and less stuck in overthinking and analyzing your work
I will be your personal cheerleader, fostering connections and shared experiences. I believe in the doing, practising and experimenting in your art as a means to learn and grow as an artist.
I work in a relaxed, friendly way, inspiring passion for your art and helping you bring ideas to life that can feed into a new body of work or pivot into a new, exciting direction.

MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a painter, collage artist and creativity coach based in the heart of England, UK. I trained at Chelsea School of Art in London and set up my first creative business when I was twenty-two.
I have illustrated over twenty children’s books and created illustrations for clothing, giftware, and stationery companies. Also, I designed ceramic homeware for Liberty London, House of Fraser, and independent galleries around the UK.
I now work as an artist, creating mainly abstract paintings exploring the interconnection and relationship between colour, marks, and shapes. I work by building up the layers of a painting by responding to what has been laid down before. I instinctively know where to put the next mark, what works and doesn’t, and how to create unity in the composition. I aim to paint without overthinking and overworking it.
People say my work brings them joy and happiness, which is lovely. It is “fun, airy, and fresh”.
I include creative coaching among my services and draw on my background in psychology, running my own creative business for 30 years, and working in non-profit art organisations to support creatives to do their best work. I am a co-author of three books on creativity and coaching and self-published ‘Mindfulness for Peace of Mind – a practical guide to finding your inner calm’.
