Mother of four, Aussie artist, Multi-passioned Creative forever salivating in my heart for experiencing (and creating experiences through) art, words and music.
I advocate for the long lost creative identity of humanity; the living treasure inside every human; expansive and delightfully, extraordinarily unique.
I am deeply moved to unearth and refine this treasure within myself and every human ready for activation. I am deeply moved by the suffering for lack of this activation, moved by the lack of knowledge around what’s buried inside us.
I paint soul-energy abstractions, dreamscapes and woman. I create a playground for eyes. Subjective expression is my sustenance and healing. I sing, I play piano, I write songs and meditations to activate Better Things. I practise dreaming as big as the universe, joy as big as the universe.
School left me believing I was unintelligent and there was no place in society for me. This broke my heart and I call it “the education wound”.
Despite this wound I somehow completed a Ba (Visual Arts) and went on to teach painting and drawing labs to 1st year Bachelor students at university for the next 10 years.
It’s here that I learnt how education hurts us. Education befuddles right-brain function, stripping us of creative autonomy and thereby forcibly creative confidence.
Without it we can’t see ourselves or each other any more. We freak out regularly and become used to this freaked-out half life.
Recovery and restoration of the creative function in humans has become my lifelong obsession.
I have supplied paintings to designers of luxe interiors, my artwork hangs in international private collections and 6-star hotels, but “my paintings are but ashes of my art”. (Yves Klein)
