• Your style is already in you, and together we’ll nurture and develop it so your work stands apart. You’ll learn how to use composition, design, and narrative so your paintings have greater clarity, balance, and impact.
• Along the way, we’re going to tackle how to trust your gut, painting exercises to help you follow your instincts, and become courageous. With my support you’ll begin to see your art more objectively and understand how it can grow while always honoring the deep well you draw from.

1. ARTISTIC STYLE: Discover, nurture, and develop the style already within you so your work stands apart.
2. COMPOSITION: Create balance using elements of design—line, value, shape, size, edges, texture, and space.
3. SELF-CRITIQUE: Get helpful feedback and learn to see your work critically and objectively.
4. MINDSET: Let go of perfectionism and overthinking, build confidence, learn how to follow your intuition.
5. NARRATIVE: Clarify the emotion, story, or message you want to capture and convey through your art.

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
• Meet mid-month with your group for informal connection
• Private group chat between sessions
• Join weekly live events with the Mastrius community
