• Painting is a language, and learning to speak it well takes practice with both form and content. In this group, we’ll build your painter’s voice through demos, discussion, homework, and critique.
• We’ll work on the essentials: confident brush handling, lively mark making, strong compositions, and the dynamics of color and temperature. You’ll learn how edges can create movement and how alla prima techniques bring freshness and energy to your work. Critiques are supportive and practical, helping you grow while developing skills that make your paintings cleaner, bolder, and more uniquely yours.

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
