• In our Mastrius mentorship group, we dive deep into both the craft and the calling of painting. Each session has a live demo where I share my own process and technique, giving insight into how to create powerful, emotionally resonant work.
• We explore the technical pillars of painting—like edges, colour theory, and composition—with a hands-on, practical focus.
• But we don’t stop there. This group is also a space to grow as an artist beyond the easel: we discuss marketing strategies, how to sell your work, build gallery relationships, and navigate the psychological journey of being a creative.
• It’s about finding your voice, sharpening your vision, and stepping confidently into your artistic identity—supported, challenged, and inspired every step of the way.

Mentorship Focus

1. How to hone technical skills such as edges, colour theory, and composition with live demos and hands-on practice to make your paintings more emotionally powerful.
2. How to deepen realism—particularly in portraiture—by mastering colour mixing, skin tones, neutral tones, and nuances of value and chroma.
3. Ways to cultivate your unique artistic voice by making intentional creative choices rather than simply mimicking references.
4. How to manage the business side of being an artist: marketing, building relationships with galleries, exhibiting work, pricing, and artist statements.
5. How to navigate the emotional and psychological aspects of creativity—including confidence, resilience, and vision—so you can grow not just technically but as an artist living your calling.

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
