Meet Ann Willsie
Acrylic | Drawing | Graphite | Ink | Oil
Ann has spent most of her life painting in oils, both in studio and in the outdoors, en plein air. She has participated in and helped organize many plein air events throughout Canada during her career.
Being primarily a landscape painter, Ann’s style of painting is very loose and impressionistic, characterized by thick oil paint, harmonious colour and visible brushstrokes. Most of her paintings depict the splendour of the natural landscape around us, from panoramic landscapes, florals and paintings of distinctive and unique trees.
Her work is shown in galleries in Ontario, Alberta and B.C., and held in collections around the world.
She is a Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has won numerous awards in various FCA shows and Plein Air Festivals.
Meet Bill Davidson
Oil
Bill has won several national landscape awards, and won awards in prestigious Plein air competitions. Three times a demonstration artist on the Main stage at the Plein Air Convention. Streamline, the largest art video company has recorded and released 6 international demo videos of Bill, the most for any artist.
Past signature member of Oil Painters of America, American Impressionists Society and Laguna Plein Air Painters. Has been represented by prestigious galleries throughout the United States. In addition has taught over 200 filled workshops in past 20 years.
