What you will learn in this mentorship

• I am a great believer in building foundational skills. It is my fond hope to empower each artist in my group by building the skill sets needed to take their work to the next level – those of drawing, design, value, color and paint handling.
• I want to find each painter’s learning edge and meet them where they are, to see what is possible for them in their journey. Self expression is a beautiful thing, but is only fully realized from a foundation of a strong and solid skill set.
• I work hard to create a virtual classroom that is fun, engaging and supportive, where everyone’s input is not only welcome, but essential…where we can all grow and learn.
• Teaching is both a privilege and a joy to me. Let’s get to work!

How This Mentorship Works

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
• Meet mid-month with your group for informal connection
• Private group chat between sessions
• Join weekly live events with the Mastrius community
