What you will learn in this mentorship

• Capturing the Atmosphere Learn to paint atmosphere like a Master!
• This group is designed for all levels and will focus on developing more depth in their work. Throughout our time together artists will learn the basic “anatomy” of a landscape to help them quickly and efficiently capture the atmospheric structure of a scene.
• Many outdoor painting principles will be discussed along the way including the importance of color relationships in analyzing the colors in the scene and quickly mixing it on the palette. Other principles will also be introduced including the importance of value, shape and edges.
• There will be slide presentations, LIVE paint-along demonstrations and critiques along with open-forum discussions on other art-related topics (business, photographing artwork, studio lighting, etc.)

• Live online small-group mentorship
• Monthly two-hour session with your mentor where you’ll receive feedback, teaching, and personal support from your mentor
• Mentor assigns homework so you can practice the skills you’re learning and get feedback on your results
