Meet Mark Thompson
Oil | Watercolor | Charcoal
Born in the Fenlands of Eastern England (1972), Mark went on to study painting at the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
His early memories of the land informed his studies, and he continues to explore the inextricable link between landscape and memory in his current body of work.
After completing his degree in 1997, he won first the Duveen and then the Rootstein Hopkins travel scholarships, which took him to Iceland, Norway and Finland.
Mark’s experiences in these harsh Nordic landscapes inspired his first solo exhibition at the Proud Galleries in London (1999).
Meet Sandra Duran Wilson
Acrylic | Mixed Media
Curiosity drives my inspiration. Abstract scientific concepts in physics, biology and chemistry, along with the pure fun of exploring what paint can do keep me exploring.
My love and fascination of materials have pushed me to expand the paintings beyond the flat surface. I enjoy incorporating found papers and materials into my art and expanding on abstracting what is both in front of me and what is in my imagination. My curiosity has led me to write six books on art techniques. I love to share my discoveries with others and I believe that every person can take information and create something new using their own voice.
Meet Nathan Seay
