Ezshwan is known for her encaustic abstract and figurative paintings that focus on the inner meaning of life and the power of introspection. Ezshwan lives in San Miguel Allende, Mexico, and has shown her work internationally, in France, Spain, Italy, Mexico, and the United States.
For this Live Demo, Ezshwan will be painting an encaustic portrait. She will explain the history of the technique, and how to paint with hot wax.
During the Live Demo you will learn:
- What is encaustic painting;
- What materials and supplies are needed for creating encaustic paintings;
- How to create several layers and how to fuse the layers into the surface.
