Bringing knowledge and experience from both the disciplines of art and business (have had successful 20+ year careers in both) and with a direct, yet supportive and encouraging communication style, I will assist artists in:
Gaining clarity about their own intentions for the role art plays in their lives,
Identifying and focusing on their goals, aspirations and direction for continued growth and learning and
Taking strategic, committed actions towards fulfilling on those intentions.
As a painting instructor for over 20 years, I can provide technical guidance in the fundamentals of painting including design/composition, shape, color, value, edges etc.. I also can support artists in uncovering and developing their own personal expression/style to provide greater satisfaction, sense of aliveness, joy (and fun!). Distinguishing WHY one makes art can help create a bigger context and more inspiration beyond just “making a picture”, so I believe that is an important question to examine.
As someone who did not go to “art school” and changed careers mid-life to pursue my passion for painting on a full time basis, I can provide a realistic perspective to the emerging artist. I have a breadth of experiences to draw from: selling through galleries, shows, directly on-line, commissioned work; writing and publishing a book; licensing artwork; teaching in person, on-line and over 20 international workshops; entering, running and judging shows; leadership role in arts organizations- so can provide a real world perspective on these types of typical artist activities.

Pat Fiorello is an award-winning fine artist, instructor and author of the book, Bella Italia, Italy Through the Eyes of an Artist. She has been painting for 30 years and works in both oil and watercolor. Her work has been featured in 20 one-woman shows and been included in over 100 juried exhibitions, including the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America and NOAPS. She is a Signature Member and Past President of the Georgia Watercolor Society. As a finalist in the Florals and Gardens challenge, Pat’s work appeared in International Artists magazine and was also published in The Richeson International Still Life and Floral competition book (2021, 2023.) Pat’s worked was selected as Best Floral (April 2023) and Best Oil Painting in the 13th Annual( 2024) PleinAir Salon competition sponsored by PleinAir®Magazine.
Inspired to devote her life to creating and sharing beauty, Pat made a radical career shift following a 20-year career in Marketing. After attending the Harvard Business School and serving as Vice President of Marketing of The Coca-Cola Company, in 2002 she followed her calling and dedicated her life to creating art on a full-time basis.
Pat teaches workshops both in person and on-line, and has led over 20 international workshops in Italy, Spain, New Zealand, and France, including private workshops at Monet’s Gardens in Giverny.
Streamline Publishing produced and distributes two full-length, instructional videos, “Vibrant Florals, Paint Your Garden” and “Elegant Still Lifes, Fresh and Fearless Painting”, featuring Pat’s painting methods. Both are available as a DVD or digitally/streaming on PaintTubeTV.
