Kristen Palana is an American/Portuguese artist living in Malawi. She’s won numerous awards at international film festivals, including Cannes Short Film Festival and Italy International Film Festival.

Kristen has taught at universities worldwide, including co-founding the Film and Digital Media BFA at The American University of Rome. From 2016–2019, she taught in Myanmar. She also works as a designer and educator for the United Nations, UNICEF, and other international organizations.
