Jean, a Canadian painter who finds inspiration in the energy of the world around her – in roaring water, windy days, massive moving clouds, the vibration of laughter and conversation, beauty of a wildflower, excitement of a new place, strength of mountains. She feels alive when she attempts to capture the energy of the moment in her paintings. She does this by building layers, playing with light and using bold colour and brushstrokes.
